i wonder if mana knows something is Off about uika. like this girl comes scouted out of nowhere with a questionable-to-non-existent backstory, no experience in the industry whatsoever and lives alone at like 14 in a tokyo apartment. despite all of these she gets paired with you, the 5-time national singing competition winner, and participates in an upscale event at a high-rise for your first performance. she's very polite but bad at actually talking, letting you do 90% of the mcing from what we see. all your attempts to connect with her are met with dead fish-eyed smiling and empty niceties. despite never having performed before in her life she rapidly attains proficiency in singing, guitar, and writing lyrics. she writes your lyrics despite this being a professional idol gig, and they're successful! she's a weird girl!! then mujica happens.

no wonder she's asking after her well being in half the scenes they're in i'm just imagining the staff taking mana into a back room and being like "okay we know she's a little Quirky but people we can't tell you about are paying us a lot if we keep her so be nice to her and let us know if she seems like she's about to kill herself <3"
